PayPal PPCP installation

Overview

The PayPal Complete Payments Platform (PPCP) enables you to seamlessly utilize PayPal’s payment infrastructure, allowing customers to check out using a variety of standard and advanced payment methods, such as Apple Pay, Google Pay, card payments, and the traditional PayPal button.

The onboarding service grants Shopthru permission to capture orders from customers on your behalf and process payments directly into your PayPal account.

Our integration is certified by PayPal, and we do not store any sensitive information associated with your account.

Instructions

1. Within the Shopthru portal, navigate to Settings > Integrations. On the “Payment integration” tab, select PayPal.

2. Click on the “Start PayPal Onboarding to get started with PayPal’s “unified onboarding process”. This process is wholly managed by PayPal.

a. The PayPal onboarding process will ask you to log into your PayPal account - this must be your business account that you take payments from

b. Depending on your account, the process may ask you to supply additional business information

3. Once complete the process should show details of the Integration

a. Our process verifies the account is set up with the correct information

b. Please contact Shopthru if any error message shows - This is normally due to an issue with your PayPal account not being fully validated or set up
